Hey gang, hope your all doing well, can’t thank you enough for all the calls. I woke up New Year’s Day to about 50 messages from anglers waiting to pick spots, many trips filling up that first day. Again thank you. We’re reaching out to our private groups that have come with us over the years, and haven’t heard back from some of you? Please give the office a call to confirm your days, as those days are limited. Some new regulations are in the making, my understanding is an additional 5 haddock per angler, and one more week of cod in September. Not sure I agree with either, but what do I know.

Seems the older I get, the faster these seasons go by. The bird is already perched at her nesting grounds in Newburyport, waiting to get all gussied up for next year. Once again, I’d like to thank each and every one of you for coming aboard , we know you have other choices to fish with, and appreciate the time you spend with us. I’ll keep you posted on any changes in regulations, and happenings around the oceanfront. Stay healthy, the spring will be here before you know it.

After a week of sitting at the dock, waiting for the weather to break, we finally made it out yesterday. OMG, we should have stayed tied up another day. Strong westerly and a ripping tide made fishing tuff. They were biting if you could hold bottom, but winds and currents made it tuff. Today was absolutely gorgeous, and the haddock bit steady all day.

Well that was a depressing stretch of weather. Finally going to make it out tomorrow, and we will wrap up the season next Sunday, the 7th. If you think you have another trip left in you, Thursday and Friday both have room. All trips next week will be 10 hr trips, 7-5. Hope to c u

It looks like we’ll be tied to the dock until Friday at the earliest. Hopefully some of you guys will be able to reschedule next week. As of now November 7th will be our last trip. The 1st through 5th all have room. Damn that went by fast?
