Good fishing yesterday, with big pollock and an easy cod limit. The tide was a little bothersome, but not to many dogfish to deal with. Today currents were so strong, it made fishing in certain areas impossible, limiting our catch. It’s been a crazy year ocean wise.

Lots of cod and big pollock today , with plenty of dogs, yesterday it was mostly dogs, and that is how the fishing has been for the past few weeks. We can avoid the dogs, but most of the time it means avoiding the fish. Hopefully, once this water cools, we’ll see less and less.

Haddock, reds and yes, dogs today. Unfortunately we’re still dealing with them, but water temps seem to be dropping, so hopefully we’ll see less and less as this continues. 1 cod at 22” starting the 1st.

Girls rule, they check their egos at the dock, and actually listen to what you have to tell them, knowing that you’ve done this a few times, and have their best interest in mind. Lots of haddock and big pollock, and we didn’t get beat up by dogs. All because girls rock. Let’s see how the Charlie Moore’s fair on tomorrow’s marathon

Lots of big pollock and haddock today. “Eddie I’m stuck on the bottom “ Jesus Christ, you got fish” ( in moroccan ) Yesterday, we had very few breaks from the dogfish, and that’s how it’s been. Simplify your rigs and keep your bait small.
