A couple of bad days, followed by a couple of really good days. I would like to see fishing a little more consistent, but unfortunately, that one is out of my hands.

Back on the water today, the last couple were spent at the dock because of high winds and seas. Fish seemed happy to see us, and responded with steady action from start to finish.

We’re catching, but working our tail off. Hats off to the anglers that have been onboard these past few days, the tide has been borderline unfishable at times. We have pulled out all the tricks: anchoring, drifting, drifting with the sea anchor, tied the sea anchor off the back. Some boats have even tried motor drifting ( I know sounds disastrous right?) Good news is, we have been putting fish in the boat. Thanks for your patience, and listen to what we have to tell you. Remember we hope you enjoy your trip, and want you to catch something.

Gorgeous weather, but just so so on the bite. Tide was a little to strong to drift, spent the day jumping from rock to rock catching a few fish on each one. Did get into a few bigger pollock early
